About author

Adomas is a photographer specializing in conceptual and metaphysical photography in the style of pictorialism. A member of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia since 2022, he teaches the art and technique of photography at the Vladivostok State University in the College of Fashion and Beauty Industry. The first debut solo photo exhibition with the author’s photo project “Apocalypse” was held in 2020 at the Vladivostok Museum of Modern Art, after which his photo projects were repeatedly exhibited at other creative venues in his hometown.

In 2024, a solo exhibition of his photo project “North over Emptiness” was held at the creative center “Espacio Ronda” in Madrid, and later at the creative center of Barcelona “Barcelona Ronda”. His photographs were also published in the international almanac “Circle of Rain 2024” of the Moscow Union of Cultural and Art Workers “Metropolis”. In 2024, Adomas was awarded membership in the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. According to Adomas, his work is inspired by the Holy Scriptures and Christian motifs in classical European painting. Among other things, Adomas is interested in poetry and performs original poems at poetry evenings, was nominated for the national award “Poet of the Year” and published in two literary almanacs “Debut” and “Anthology of Russian Poetry” in 2024. In 2024, Adomas received a bachelor’s degree in theology from the Far Eastern Federal University (Vladivostok).

Adomas has a wife, Polina, and a young son, Roaldas.
